• Place computer in a place that is visible
• Keep the lines of communication open so they feel free to discuss their concerns about the Internet 
• Start Internet safety conversations at an early age 
• Surf the Internet with your young children
• Set expectations on what is appropriate and inappropriate use of internet
• Report any illegal content to authorities
